Programme Aims
To Provides students with a thorough grounding in the applied aspects of computer technology in general, together with an aplication domain in logistics, accountancy or leisure and tourism studies.
Graduates of the programme will be able to develop quality software, including reliable business information systems. The programme also equips students with the academic foundation required for articulation into bachelor degree studies.

Further Studies and Career Prospects
Graduates from this programme can expect to find employment in a wide range of activites in their preferred sector, for example, as programmers, Internet or e-business application developers, and IT consultants. With a few years of practical experience, graduatues will usually be able to progress into senior positions such as system analysts, technical support managers and database administrators.
The Department of Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong, accepts our graduates with credit transfer to their Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Studies and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science. The Department of Electronic Engineering and Department of Information Systems also our graduates with credit transfer to their Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Information Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Information Systems respectively.
In the past few years, the majority of graduates have continued to pursue degree studies in local tertiary institutes, overseas universities and off-shore programmes of overseas universities in Hong Kong.

Reaches the age of 23 on September 1 in the year of admission with satisfactory work experience.
