Further Studies and Career Prospects
Graduates can continue their studies in a relevant degree, both locally and overseas. Examples are: Bachelor of Science (Hons) Aviation Management (Coventry University, UK), Bachelor of Business in Transport and Logistics Management (RMIT, Australia).
Our graduates can take up para-professional functions in the airport, air-cargo terminals, airlines, international couriers, freight forwarders, shipping companies, and global manufacturers. Potential employers are Cathay Pacific, Jardine Aviation Services, Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd., Hong Kong Airport Authority, Dragon Air, DHL, FedEx, UPS World Wide Logistics, and Hong Kong International Terminals etc. With experience, graduates will be able to move into managerial role in avionics or logistics related industry.
Main Subject Areas [Programme Curriculum]
The programme features an appropriate combination of requirements for: (1) aviation and logistics, (2) management skills, (3) application of information technologies, and (4) effective communication.
The essential skills include: understanding the nature of the aviation and logistics operations and requirements, selecting and adopting the appropriate management and inter-personal skills, and utilising proper information technologies to produce effective solutions to business problems.
Special Features
The programme is professionally oriented with regular input from professional people such as CEOs, human resources directors and training managers, educators, aviation experts, logistics experts, operation and support managers, experts from professional organizations, such as Airport Authority of Hong Kong and Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong.
This programme is supported by Airport Management Academy, Hong Kong International Airport.
Students can join the internship scheme which enables them to obtain practical experience within an appropriate working environment.
The programme covers areas of written examination organized by the Hong Kong Aviation Club. Graduates can take this examination to obtain an Airplane Private Pilot License with substantial flying experience.

Admission Requirement
- General Entrance Requirements for Associate Degree Programmes; AND
- Passes in HKCEE/AS/AL, must include one of the following subjects: Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Mathematics & Statistics, Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, or an equivalent,
- OR -
A recognized diploma/higher certificate in a relevant field,
- OR -
Reaches the age of 23 on September 1 in the year of admission with satisfactory work experience.
